From the Lathe
The lathe provides a wide range of opportunity from the whimsical to the practical. I have turned hundreds of pieces ranging from everyday salad bowls to hollow forms for the gallery. Time at the lathe is pure joy for me. The ability to see what the wood is offering and capturing it, many times in a single session, is just great fun. I’m always happy to take an order for a bowl, platter, hollow form or whatever your imagination can capture. I am constrained at times by wood availability as I am very selective about the wood I use.
